Pre- and Post- Workout Stretches


  1. Warm-up stretches (Before you workout)

Stretching before workouts are important to prevent injuries and to improve speed, `

agility, and acceleration during workouts.

Try some of the following pre-stretches:

Squats

Lunges

Plank Walk Outs

Hip Circles

Jumping Jacks

Arm Circles

Leg Swings

Butt kicks

High Knees

Standing Toe Taps


2. Cool-down stretches (After you workout)


Stretching after workouts helps increase flexibility and decrease the risk of injury.


Try some of these post-workout stretches:


Side Bends

Calf Stretch

Cow Stretch/ Cat Stretch

Cobra Stretch

Butterfly Stretch

Toe Touch

Shoulder Stretch

Samson Stretch

Quad Stretch
